I know, I usually start with (what I think is) an entertaining dialogue between my customer and me. Somehow, that just doesn’t seem appropriate in these times, although heaven knows we need humor and some sense of “sameness” in a world that is upside-down.
What’s changed in the world of background checks? How will it impact our customers?
At Cutting Edge, we are fortunate that we have been able to keep working and doing what we love without missing a beat. Early on Cutting Edge adopted practices to allow ourselves to work remotely should the need present itself. We communicate as effectively as ever with our clients, our vendors and each other on the staff.

I’m reminded of a cartoon I saw recently, the caption was,
“All those meetings could have really been e-mails.”
I have plenty of coffee, and I have one staff member with an alarming ice cream fixation.
But we are good, and happy for the opportunity to do what we do best.
There are some things that have changed for us—things out of our control and I’ll cover them in our succeeding blogs.
